Katie is a wonderful 8 months! She’s up on those knees now, and there’s very little she can’t get over! It’s so much fun to watch her and Lilly play together. Lilly has attempted to pick Katie up, and that was more than a little scary for all of us. Hopefully she’s figured out that Katie is just a little to heavy to carry on her own! She’s done really well with me in school. Paul’s got the hang of the girls at night you could call him a pro. Katie is also teething! I can finally say our little lady has a tooth! It looks like there might be a second trying to come in, but there’s nothing popping through her gums just yet. Now we just need to get her some hair! Katie’s still babbling and grunting at us, and if you grunt back it gets her giggling at you. I swear when she laughs it makes you instantly forget everything you might be in the middle of because you get to laughing with her. Her laugh is truly infectious!!! She’s getting better with eating her veggies. We had such a hard time and still do with Lilly eating veggies. Katie manages to choke some stuff down without being coated in fruit, but there is no way she’s going to stomach peas unless they are coated in bananas! I personally don’t blame her at all! More adventures soon to come!

Katie really is crawling around pretty well. What’s funny is she has a slight tri-ped crawl like Lilly did. Sometimes she keeps one of her legs under her when she crawls, which cements it for me that it hurts their knees too much to crawl on the wood floors. She’s getting quicker by the day. One minute she’s in the living room watching cartoons with Lilly, the next she’s at my feet in front of the computer trying to pull up on my legs.
