So I’m doing what I’ve been told minus the pictures (Tom)! I started school back this January so that I can complete my nursing degree. It’s time to join the real world very soon, and well I need to finish up my school so that it can be worth going back to work! The school is really wonderful with offering a variety of classes to be taken at night making it just a little easier on us as far as not needing childcare. Paul gets to work really early so that he can leave really early. When he gets home then I’m off to school for a couple hours a night each weekday. We still get to see each other, but it’s been a little less than we’re used to. Lilly loves this arrangement because she gets to play with Daddy all night, and then I come home just in time to put her to bed. She gets the best of both worlds! Paul’s been a great tutor as far as my math is concerned, and I’s slowly learning spanish. I like most of my classes, and I feel like I’m hanging in there with a full load. The student age is pretty diverse. I thought I might be the old lady in the class, but this school really seems to cater to those of us giving school a second chance! So if you wonder why we might be a little behind the times in updating posts, well now you know! Paul has is hands full with balancing work and the new tasks of Lilly. I’ve got a plate and a half full with taking on school at night while still trying to balance our home life. And it looks like the other half of the plate should be full this summer! Hope everyone is doing well. More to come later…..
