Lilly’s Rolling!

Lilly’s officially 4 months now! Lilly rolled over for the first time this Tuesday! She’s really good at turning from side to side while she’s on her back, and she’s just started rolling from front to back. She hasn’t decided to use rolling as a way to get around yet. It’s more of something that gets her kisses from Mommy! As of Friday morning, the whole family including Grandparents got to see Lilly roll! As of Thursday Grandpa and I have been the only ones to witness her rolling, and so far I have over 20 minutes of crying on video because I’m was trying to tape it for Paul! She’s getting to be such a big girl, and we’re loving every minute! Lilly weighs 13.2 lbs, and she’s about 25 inches long. We go to the doctor next Tuesday to see about her birthmark. She’s got a rather large birthmark on the inside of her left arm that doesn’t look to be getting any less red or smaller, and the pediatrician recommended that we got see a dermatologist to see how to remove it. She’s been eating rice cereal now for about a week. It was funny to watch her eat it for the first time. I think more of it was all over her and me instead of in her tummy! Now she’s eating like a pro! We just found out she can start drinking some juice now!!!! She’s been sleeping all the way through the night, and she’s set her own bedtime for around 8pm. We’ll see how long this lasts because she gets really cranky around 7pm, and I think I may have to bump the bedtime to earlier! She still loves her cartoons, and now she’s started watching movies with us. I’m not so sure that 300 is an appropriate movie for a baby, but she got to watch it inside and outside the womb! It’s one of the only movies that we saw while I was pregnant with her, and now we sat and watched it as a family! She’s still a drooling monster, and I expect teeth by six months! I can’t imagine her drooling this much without producing teeth!! She’s been more aware of “things” around her. I noticed her watching Aunt Kilar a couple weeks ago, and she’s never really watched the cats that she lives with. I think it’s because Kilar was more active and vocal. She just started paying attention to the cats this past week. She gets wide eyes and stares. I’m waiting for her to laugh or scream at them, and those cats are going to freak out! I’ve posted more pictures of her on Flickr.
