Lilly enjoyed a fabulous fifth birthday with some friends and family! Lilly asked for a ladybug cake, and she had a moonwalk/bounce house for her party. We still have a hard time with how big she’s gotten because time has flown by. She’s off the charts for height (45 inches), and she weighs 43 pounds. We think she’s incredibly smart, and super funny. School has been winding down for her, and we’re getting mentally prepared to enter kindergarten. She is writing her name, she can read a few sight words, and counts pretty well. Her teeth are beginning to loosen up, and the tooth fairy is about to make her grand entrance. I recall the tooth fairy giving 50 cents for teeth at my childhood home, and now her price has sky-rocketed to $5 a tooth! Kids have it easy these days! Lilly is so patient and kind with Katie. They really get along well and help each other out. More Lilly helping or doing things for Katie, but it seems to work for them! Since moving into our new house, they are almost inseparable at night. They love sleeping in the same room, and by the end of the night someone is most certainly laying on the other one. They pretty much are each others’ best friend!
