We celebrated Lilly’s 4th birthday this weekend at the house with friends and family by renting an inflatable moon room. Other than a few minor crashes everything went really well and all the kids really seemed to have a good time, even an adult or two. No surprise to me, Lilly made out like a bandit this year with the presents, though I was surprised by a Nana and Papa action, though I really shouldn’t be anymore. They seemed to have started a new tradition of gifting the sibling of the birthday girl. Not only did they shower Lilly with gifts, they also brought a gift for Katie. Laura made a really good “Hello Kitty” cake and her second batch of cupcakes were delicious. There is a funny story behind the cupcakes that Papa can probably tell better, but he told us we needed to see the cupcake display. It turns out Katie had climbed up our kitchen table and destroyed most of the cupcakes. I don’t think she even ate any, rather just ripped them all in half.
