Lilly Monster!

picture-007.jpgLilly is now a little over 3 months old! She’s smiling and cooing at everyone. She’s just started yelling the past couple of days! We have to teach her to use her inside voice versus her outside voice. She’s pushing herself up for preparing to crawl. I think if we continue to give her tummy time she’ll be crawling in no time! She’s been sleeping through most of the night, and she occasionally wakes up only once to eat! This has been making me very happy for sleeping purposes! Paul has finally been able to get good sleep when we go to bed on time. He doesn’t wake up with every noise she makes, and I’ve been able to turn down the baby monitor to a reasonable level. I’ve been so afraid I wouldn’t wake up if she cried or choked, and I had that monitor up so loud that you could hear it louder than she actually was! Poor Paul!!! Lilly is starting to see things a lot better, and she enjoys watching television! This has been a big help for me so that I can get things done around the house without having her scream the whole time. When she would start to scream, I would put on the baby carrier to do housework with her! It made more of a workout than helping me get the house clean. She has her favorite cartoons that she watches during breakfast and after her morning nap. The more spastic the cartoon the happier she is as long as they sing too! Paul has come home a couple of times to see that I’ve put a DVD of some kids movie on for her!!! She’s getting so big, and she’s finally starting to out grow her clothes! I thought we would never get out newborns, and now she’s in 3 to 6 month clothes! Our biggest problem with clothes is still she’s much longer than she is around! We go to the doctor in a couple weeks for her 4 month check up, and we should be able to tell everyone just how much she’s grown!
