Lilly turned three this past Saturday. Both Mommy and Nana have been telling her for weeks now that her birthday was coming up and she was going to get a castle cake and presents at the jumpy place. This was the first year she really looked forward to her birthday and embraced the whole thing. For weeks leading up to her party she was always asking us when are we going to the jumpy place for her birthday? Saturday we met Nana and Poppa at Chick-fil-a for breakfast and headed over to the jumpy place. We had the place rented out for about two hours so Lilly and all her friends could go wild, which they did. I really think they all enjoyed themselves. I can’t even recall any crying or tantrums, which is amazing. After playing for two hours they herded us into a room where the kids ate pizza and birthday cake and Lilly opened her presents. All said and done it seemed like the kids had a lot of fun and we were in and out in about three hours. Later that day, after a sugar induced coma, we went for ice cream at a local Brusters. I think Lilly ate her weight in sugar that day. Happy birthday Lilly.
