Katie turned 4 months! We went to the doctor for her well-visit check up, and everything went well. She’s 26 inches long making her in the 95th percentile for her age. She’s weighing in at 15-1/2 pounds (86th percentile!). Her noggin is also 16 inches around which puts her at the 75th percentile for her age. So she’s growing well, and eating well too. She got to try cereal for the first time, and she didn’t like it at all. She still ate most of it though. She’s rolling around now going from front to back and vice versa. She holds herself up so well that the doctor suggested putting her in the exersaucer a little early. Katie has already spent more time in there happy than Lilly ever did. Lilly never like that thing, and she let you know it. Katie enjoys being in there, and she has plenty to play with along with her older sister helping her out. Lilly thinks it’s funny to climb in there now and play – not while Katie is in there! Katie laughs and giggles at us, and she’s even started the baby babbling or cooing. She likes it when we tickle her, and Lilly likes to play that game with her too! She’s still a very caring and loving big sister to Katie. I’ve decided to try and disguise Katie’s lack of hair with those big flower headbands for babies. I’ve even managed to make her a couple myself! I think they make her look even more adorable than she already is as hard as it may seem! We have the same problem with clothes as we did with Lilly. Katie is growing out of them in length so quickly, and one nice thing is she fits better in the width than Lilly did in the same outfits. The girls just keep growing so fast it makes me wish I had more time to spend with them! More to come soon!
