Katie is on the verge of walking. Everywhere she goes she pulls up and stands. She’s even started pushing and walking behind her push-a-long toys. She’s starting to get frustrated crawling everywhere and wants to walk so bad she grunts at you and puts her arms up to be supported so she can walk everywhere. Her steps are still a little wild, but she’s got down the motion; it’s just a matter of time till her little legs get strong enough where she can walk for more than a few seconds before getting tired. It’s going to be weird having two toddlers walking around soon. It makes me laugh to hear Katie’s slapping of the floor when she crawls and I still laugh thinking about Lilly’s tripod crawl. I guess those days are almost gone. Katie has started to eat table food. She only has 2 teeth right now, and we’re hoping for more soon! She can eat the soft stuff like biscuits, crackers, bananas, ect. She’s really not the into eating bananas yet. I think the texture really makes her sick. Katie also had her first sip of sweet tea. Nana gave Lilly her first sip when she was only 6 months old, and now she can’t stop. Katie isn’t the biggest fan of it, but she goes back for more which makes me laugh after every shudder. The girls still get along well. Katie has started to become more vocal about Lilly encroaching in on her space. She mainly minds it when Lilly is too close when it’s later in the evening. Well, now we wait to see just how long it takes for her to start something new!
