Thanksgiving was nice this year. Tammy made all the usual yummies that we look forward to, and we had 2 turkeys this year!!! Their neighbors fried us a turkey, and it was pretty good! Lilly and Katie of course were spoiled rotten! Nana and Paul took Lilly to go see a movie. They went to go see A Christmas Carol, and she did great! I guess the trick to taking her to the movies is bring Nana and see one of her kinds of movies. Oh – and buy the snack bar!!! My brother Matt was able to come this year. Lilly loves her “Muncle Matt”! She likes to pretend that if she closes her eyes or covers her face we can’t see her. She played this game a lot with him. It was cute when he was leaving, she actually managed to give him a hug and tell him bye!!! She’s so shy with guys, and this was a big step for her. She also got to play next door for a little while with Avery. I can remember when we put them together for the first time at Thanksgiving, and they were barely able to sit by themselves. This year the big deal was potty training and big girl panties! It’s amazing how fast time goes by with them! Nana and Papa also had their Christmas tree up. Lilly was in awe of it most of the time. She didn’t mess with ornaments or presents – which was a miracle! Her favorite snowman is back out so she can dance to him singing. It’s really cute! We’ll have to see if she will let us get a video of it. Lilly also was a big meat person this go round! She ate bacon and turkey!!! Katie did well with her starter foods. One day she’s going to like her veggies! More to come soon with Florida only 2 weeks away and Christmas following soon after! Until then…
