Easter came this year a couple of different times. We had a great little event with our neighborhood, and the girls were able to go on age group hunts. Lilly found one of the special eggs that allowed her to get a big chocolate bunny that both girls enjoyed! There were games and the Easter Bunny to visit, and in typical shy fashion- the girls would have rather crawled in a hole than do anything else. We’re hoping next year when we aren’t so new that they will be comfortable getting involved without us dragging them to do things! The Easter Bunny came to visit our house, and Zoe managed to find one of the hard-boiled eggs. We can just say there was no saving that egg, and I’m sure she paid for it a little later! We also went to our good friends’ house, the Clarks, and we enjoyed a wonderful feast! It’s always nice to have good friends that are mostly family to you with the only thing missing is the actual blood relation! Great food, yummy beer, and happy kids make the best holidays!
