We’ve had our first fun Easter this year. Lilly got to look for eggs at school and at the Clark’s house. Both girls had fun little baskets to dig in, and Lilly found hers a couple days early. She brought out the bunny to Paul asking him if she could eat it. I’m glad that he knew something was not quite right, and he said she had to save it until I came home from school. When Easter Sunday finally rolled around, she got to tear into that bunny! I think she only had chocolate for breakfast because she wouldn’t eat anything else. Thank goodness that holidays like this are few and far between or she would have a constant belly ache! She did complain that her belly hurt throughout the day. We’ve had to put up her candy so that she can only have a couple pieces a day to prevent her from getting sick. Katie got to eat some animal cookies this year, and next year she can try some chocolate! The girls also got frilly new dresses for the special day. Katie loves playing with the plastic eggs. Lilly will collect them for her, and she the tears them all up only for Lilly to complete the cycle all over again! We ended the day with a fabulous dinner with our friends, and it was a wonderful day! Next year is going to be the best with the girls walking around hunting eggs and eating those Easter treats!
