Sorry this post is a little late, but we wanted to share a little about Thanksgiving! We had a great and lazy break for Thanksgiving. I don’t think the grandparents would call their break lazy, but it was great for Paul and me! Lilly had to have either Grandma or Grandpa at all times! She got a Thanksgiving present that is a doll house almost the same height as her! Luckily for us, it stays at Grandma’s!!!! The feast was great, and I do have to say it was one of the best turkeys I’ve ever eaten (Yes, I would even admit this to my mother if she were here!). Lilly of course got to see the neighbor’s granddaughter, Avery. They didn’t want much to do with each other, and playing with a ball kind of made it tolerable for them. The cutest thing was in the end we asked the girls to give each other a hug, and they did! So cute!!! It’s just amazing to look back at pictures from last year this time, and see how much Lilly has changed. At the end of the weekend, I know everyone was pretty tired – well everyone except Lilly! Our kid has more energy that 4 people know what to do with! So now she’s patiently waiting until we go see them again in a couple weeks so she can give big hugs and kisses, and she manages to get by with just kissing them on the phone. She’s turned into a kissing monster. Everything she thinks she might like she kisses. This includes paper, pictures, people, animals, and Auntie Kilar! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
