Katie is officially two! We had a great party for her with the water bounce house, lots of friends, and of course the cake! She also had the dreaded doctor’s visit, and she did great! No shots this time, and I think she was the most excited about that! She’s now back in the charts for height putting her in the 90’s. She’s just about 35-1/2 inches, and she’s weighing in at 25 pounds on the dot which is about the 50th percentile. Her weight to height is very similar to her big sister, and I’ll say it again- my girls might be bigger than me before they get out of elementary school! She passed all her vision tests with ease, and now we just have to figure out how to get her to take the hearing tests. She just rips the things out of her ears before they ever get a chance to start the test. She has a bit of an attitude! She’s starting to say more words. I never thought I would want her to talk like Lilly, but I know once she gives it a try we’ll all be a little less frustrated! She’s been working on the potty training with a few very successful days here and there. Sometimes she just gets so wrapped up in playing that she forgets to let us know. I’m sure that within a month or so we should be doing pretty good. Katie and Lilly have also been having a summer long slumber party in Lilly’s room. I wonder if Katie will ever want to sleep in her own room again! School starts for BOTH girls in a little over a month, and we’ll have more news then!
